After many months of behind the scenes work, the Parish Council are delighted to update the local residents that the children’s play area by the Village Hall has been resurfaced. On the 22 May contractors came to remove the old wood bark surface, replacing it with high quality bonded rubber mulch around the slide, the climbing area and see-saw.
The play area is now ready for the younger residents of the village and surrounding area to enjoy for years to come. The makeover is also well timed ahead of this year’s village fete taking place at the Village Hall on Saturday 29 June.
Special thanks are extended to members of the Parish Council and their families for helping to prepare and repair parts of the existing structure ahead of the resurfacing work.
