Thanks to everyone from Longdown and the surrounding villages who came to the Defibrillator Training run by South West Ambulance service last Thursday 26th September at Longdown Village Hall.
A group of around 40 local residents were given training on initial patient assessment, CPR and how to use the defibrillator itself. We were delighted by such a strong turnout with attendees coming from other local villages, including Christow, Ide and Kenn. Feedback from the attendees was that it was a very useful session, with some having had first hand experience of the need to use a defibrillator. The Parish Council thanks you for your support and interest in this important local service.
