The Holcombe Burnell Parish Council has a vacancy for a new member to join. If you would like to help get more involved in our local community and have a couple of hours to spare a month we would love to hear from you. We are a friendly group of local residents some of which have lived here for generations and some of which have moved to Longdown in recent years.
We have, and are continuing to work on local improvements and initiatives such as addition of a litter bin on “the straight” in the lay-by, installation of the dog waste bin near the village hall, creation of the Nature Warden role, reviewing of local planning applications, campaigning for lower speed limits and addressing drainage/flooding issues within the parish. To name but a few!
In a time when more of us are spending considerably more time at home and in our local community why not join in?
