For the first time we are holding a small farmers market at the Longdown Village Hall. Why not support our local producers and try some of their great food and drink.
The first market will be held at the Longdown Village Hall on Saturday 23rd January from 9am until midday. Some of the producers include:
Little Leigh Farm
Offering a fine selection of free range chicken and eggs. Cheeses, Lamb, dry cured bacon and ham. Fresh pies, scotch eggs and chicken liver pate from the farm kitchen.
Oinkers Beef and Pork
Gorgeous locally produced beef and pork from the long established team at Oinkers.
Local Fruit and Veg
Need some fresh vegetables to accompany your Sunday roast? We can’t think of anything better than choosing from some great local produce.
Freshly Baked Bread
How about some fresh locally baked bread for your sandwiches or toast? Then try some bread from the Teign Valley Bakery.
Jams and Chutneys
Amazing jams and chutneys from Little Bowhay, a small family run business based in Shillingford. Most of their products use ingredients grown on their own smallholding, sourced locally or from ethical suppliers.
Due to the current Covid-19 regulations, some producers may not be at the market. Please attend safely and follow the prevailing government safety guidelines.
If the market proves popular then it might become a regular feature!
