Farmers Market

This weekend sees the start of the Farmers Market as a regular event at the Longdown Village Hall every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. You can buy wonderful fresh produce from local suppliers including:

Little Leigh Farm – Offering a fine selection of free range chicken and eggs. Cheeses, Lamb, dry cured bacon and ham. Fresh pies, scotch eggs and chicken liver pate from the farm kitchen.

Olivia’s Fresh Veg and Bread – A great selection of fresh vegetables from local farms and bread from the Teign Valley bakery.

The Cake Fairy – Some of the most amazing homemade cakes you will taste. You should be early to market though or they will be sold out.

Little Bowhay – Amazing jams and chutneys, from a small family run business based in Shillingford. Most of their products use ingredients grown on their own smallholding, sourced locally or from ethical suppliers.

The Lamb at Longdown – Serving their own venison sausages, hot to takeaway or for you to cook at home.

The Longdown Sports & Social Club are serving hot tea, coffee and bacon rolls.

As Covid-19 restrictions still apply, please ensure you adhere to social distancing rules at all times.

Some producers may not be at the market each week.
