Our first social event in over 18 months, was a resounding success. Money raised from the sale of cream teas, home baked cakes and second hand books raised an incredible £1,424.27 for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).
ELF is a registered charity providing vital support to patients with blood cancer and other disorders who attend the Haematology Centre at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RD&E). Over the last 20 years, Marge Addicott has organised fundraising and charity skittle matches for help raise over £50,000 for ELF in memory of Neil Courtney.
Our next event is the Jumble Sale, at 2pm on Saturday 18th Sept in the Longdown Village Hall.
