If you have a stockpile of bottles you have been meaning to recycle, then you have until Friday the 15th October to use the glass recycling bank in the Village Hall car park.
As all households are provided with a weekly kerbside collection for glass, the recycling bank usage is very low (it hasn’t been emptied since April 2020) and Teignbridge District Council have decided to move it where there is a greater need.
We shall miss the recycling bank, especially at Christmas when there are far too many empty bottles to hide, but top marks to Teignbridge District Council for recycling the recycling bank and giving the Village Hall an extra car parking space!
