The Teign Valley Ukraine Crisis Support Group are collecting and delivering donations from our community to refugees from Ukraine.
The group are working with registered charity CR2EE who have been active in Moldova for almost 30 years. Donations will be shipped by CR2EE to the city of Balti and distributed by volunteers to refugees cross the border into Moldova.
What to donate
Clothing
Good quality, washed or new outdoor clothing for women and children, summer and winter, including:Â
- Jumpers and fleeces
- Coats
- Trousers
- Thermal Layers
- Outdoor shoes and boots
- Hats and gloves
- Socks
- New underwear for women and children
Other Items
Some non-clothing items are also needed:
- Blankets
- Towels
- Sleeping Bags
- Nappies
- Sanitary Products
- Baby Bottles
- Infant fomula
- Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
- Soap but not bubble bath
- Hairbrushes
How to Donate
The Longdown Village Hall will be open on Sunday 13th March between midday and 4pm to receive donations.Â
