70 years reign for Queen Elizabeth II and four days of celebration around the country.
There was no royal visit or a flypast over Longdown but there was a Platinum Jubilee lunch at the village hall.
Well attended, with people of all ages it was a delightful gathering of our local community. There was cake, crisps, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, strawberries and the obligatory Pimms!
it was great to see everyone together and is perhaps something we should do more often.
Thanks to the hard working Social Club for organising.
