70 years reign for Queen Elizabeth II and four days of celebration around the country.
There was no royal visit or a flypast over Longdown but there was a Platinum Jubilee lunch at the village hall.
Well attended, with people of all ages it was a delightful gathering of our local community. Â There was cake, crisps, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, strawberries and the obligatory Pimms!
it was great to see everyone together and is perhaps something we should do more often.
