Holcombe Burnell Parish Council has purchased a defibrillator (to restart the heart after a heart attack, during what is sometimes called the golden half hour). 

It is located on the outside wall at the entrance to Longdown Village Hall and is in a secure yellow box.  Once you have rung 999 you will be given directions on how to unlock and use the defibrillator.  It is a modern design and requires no special training, just a familiarisation talk. It is easy to use by anyone from age 13 upwards.
