Devon Cream Tea
Scone, cream and then jam as a proper Devonshire cream tea should be. The Longdown Social Club will be holding a Devon Cream Tea on the 7th August at 4pm in support of Exeter Leukaemia Fund. There will be a prize draw and bookstall as well as cream tea, cakes and refreshments.
It is incredible to think this will be the first social event at the Village Hall in almost 18 months. The last being the annual Longdown jumble sale which raised £450. So needless to say it will be fantastic to see everyone again and help raise money for an incredible charity.
Please feel free to bring a cake or books for the cake and book stall.
