Our Badminton Club is a small and relaxed group who play purely for fun. All ages are welcome, although some experience is preferred. We mix and match our games to give everyone the opportunity to improve their skills.

The hall has a full sized court together with all the nets and equipment you need to play. We also have a selection of rackets for loan and we provide the shuttlecocks. Players are welcome to bring their own racquets.

When and Where

The club meets twice a week at the Longdown Village Hall on Tuesday and Thursday playing between 8pm and 10pm. There is no badminton on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Fees

All adult members are expected to be members of The Village Hall Social Club. Membership is £10 per annum.

Each evening costs only £1 to play, which goes toward the lighting, shuttlecocks and a small Christmas celebration! For those still at school, the fee is 50p.
